Over One Hundred Family Members of People Living with AIDS Present Request to Supreme Court in Beijing

[Tianwang Beijing 2 March 2012] China Tianwang Human Rights Affairs Center: Today, over 100 family members of people living with HIV/AIDS went to the Supreme Court, to ask it to urge the authorities to implement Document #26 of 29 on welfare benefits for children with HIV/AIDS. Later, the Supreme Court sent someone to receive them who promised to report to superiors and then pass along their response.

At 13:26 in the afternoon, Mr. Du, a family member of a person living with HIV/AIDS informed the China Tianwang Human Rights Affairs Center that some of the group had agreed to leave and the number of petitioners had decreased. However, he said that we will stay here until we get a response.
